Queer Parents

No matter where you are at in the process of becoming a parent, whether or not you are partnered, or how you formed your family, you are welcome here.

Are you thinking about becoming a parent, deciding how to become a parent or you are a parent?

Are you experiencing confusion and overwhelm deciding which path to take to create your family?

Are you experiencing transphobia, heterosexism or other forms of discrimination in the family making process?

Have you been a parent for a while and are now experiencing strain in a relationship, gender dysphoria or a desire to reexamine your sexual orientation?

As a queer parent, I’ve navigated many of these roads and understand the challenges that come with these intersecting identities.  The decision to become a parent, the various paths to parenthood, and the experience of raising children are significant life choices that evoke a wide range of thoughts, feelings, and emotions. And, doing so as an LGBTQIA+ parent can add to the complexities.

We will work collaboratively to facilitate a deeper understanding of yourself, develop coping skills, address societal pressures and discrimination while fostering resilience and self-acceptance. Together, we can explore ways to strengthen your relationships, navigate parenting challenges, and find balance amidst the complexities of your identity. My goal is to empower you to embrace your authentic self and cultivate a nurturing environment for your current or future family. You deserve a space to reflect, connect, and grow, and I’m honored to be part of your journey.
